Velella & Basso traces its humble origins to the historic Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx, where its headquarters remain to this day. The firm was founded by a popular New York State Senator and his partner, Gary S. Basso, whose wisdom remains a guiding force.

Although Velella & Basso remains committed to the Morris Park and Bronx communities, it has expanded its services to all parts of NYC, Westchester, and Long Island, thanks in large part to its embrace of modern technologies and the ambitions of a talented new generation of attorneys.
